Ask all the questions you want mate, thats why the knowledge base is here, to be used! The Lipo battery can be dangerous if not looked after properly. The connectors you would want to be pretty tight to stop them coming apart but if your struggling with them have a look at the connectors on the Giant Cod website that are the same idea as Deans with the only difference being that they have grips on them to make pulling them apart slightly easier.

      Hope this helps

Cheers,I really dont want someone to do any research,I tried googling last night and just thought I would see what answers I got from you guys first.Read that vasaline ont he connectors would loosen them but didn't want to use a liquid on a electrical connection just in case.also read that squeazing thwm with a pair of pliers would work too,but didn't want to damage anything.
In case I forget to thank anyone Thanks In advance

nice one- Like I said, don't take what I said the wrong way- it's a minefield of learning m8.

Deans do loosen up with time- the other problem is if they have distorted a bit when they were soldered- that will make them a lot stiffer. May be worth checking they line up easily, if not, get some new ones and resolder, assuming you want to stay with Deans- personally I like them.

Check out any Finless bob servo set and head set up up vid on Helifreak- even if it is not your heli, it will give you a good understanding of the mechanics, especially if you watch a few.

          Cheers

I tend to agree that Deans connectors a pain in the Aris, and have now converted to the XT60 connectors
Have a look at this thread and see what you think.
