    Hey Adie!

Cheers for the welcome Was going to give you a call some time this week, at a decent time haha. Thinking of poping down this friday, wont be flying but will bring the heli in the car just in case you guys want a look at it.

Looking forward to meeting you all, and definately looking forward to the day i can finally get my heli in the air . Always been interested in RC helis just never plucked up the courage to get one, or even fork out the money to get one!

Perfect time in life to start now!

Look forward to chatting with you mate!

I had a trex 450, ideal for learning with, flys well and cheap-ish to mend, lol, u cant go wrong really dood..... also if u can fly one of them sensibly and smooth u will find it so much easyer on a bigger one, like a 600 etc...... wicked oh and good luck lool........

Went to checkout the guys at Eagle rc heli club tonight, had an amazing time! Nice bunch of guys, taught me loads just by talking to them - especially Adie / Joe / Kev.

Just want to say thanks, and ill most definately be poping over some more in the near future!

Have a little fly myself eventually!

Haven't seen any mention of batteries (but I am a bit blind sometimes)

You'll need a (some) decent Lipo Batteries and a proper charger.

There's lots of LIPO battery advice in the forums - Please understand what these batteries are - they can be quite dangerous if mis-treated.

I think you should have a trip over to Fast Lads or local dealer and just spend some time chatting. You can also try the Phoenix sim on a large screen in the shop.

                    Hey mate,

Yea i did have a li-po which didnt have enough charge in i think. They had been sat for ages and one of them went funny. Joe told me about the salt bath before binning them. I took them to the local tip yesterday after a salt bath and the dude kindly took them away.

I dont know anything about them at all and i am a bit stupid, so this weekend im going to do some reading up about it. Good job you posted that - think i might take a drive to fast lads

                    Thanks for the post!
