Secondly If you have got it set up correctly and you just cant resist having a go, then be sure to have some training gear on the heli and stick to just getting the heli light on its skids so you can get the feel of things.

Better still, would be to find someone that can set things up and test hover it for you if at all possible
Currently i dont know how to setup the DX6i , but tonight i plan to go home and read up as much as i can, grab the manual and read up on everything. I dont want to rush into it and break somthing haha.

Know any good links to useful information? Ive read a few posts on here, but haven't had a thorough search yet.

I don't know anyone yet in the area that i can grab for advice, you guys pretty much first people i came to

      Aden,

I would suggest that you take a look at "chopperaddicts" web site: http://www.chopperaddict.co.uk
as it has tons of useful stuff and advice. There is a specific section on setting up radios including the DX6i, the link is here: ChopperAddicts Radio Controlled Helicopters Web Site

Loads of us use the DX6i so you can get plenty of help using it. I also use it for my phoenix sim!

      Have fun and enjoy!

      Cheers,
      Simon

Yeah, the indoor club isn't running ATM as they use Newark showground for indoor and that's chocca through the summer, I only found out about them a week ago, since then I went down on Friday, and the guys there are so helpful, like I said search on here for adieuk, and heliboy, both really helpful!!

When I first phoned adie up to find out more, I was on the phone to him for nearly an hour, talking pure heli's, fantastic chap!!

It's pretty hard to find first time so if it's on on Friday, we could sort somewhere to meet near Lincoln, somewhere that you know where it is, then you could follow me down mate if you want
