  • Hello.. from Ayrshire

    Hi ALL..

I am Al.. I am from Ayrshire in sunny Scotland.

I am new to heli's, although I did dabble a few years ago.... when the 2 big choices were Hirobo Shuttle or Kyosho Concept and Futaba or JR radio gear. As I said I am in Ayrshire and intending on joining a club, I have found Waterfoot and am familiar with Warrix as I have flown planks there. I am the proud owner of a Raptor 30 and Futaba Radio gear.... and even prouder of my Phoenix sim. So, hello to you all!!

        Hi Al

        Welcome.

What part of Ayrshire are you from? I used to live in Ayr and work in Kilmarnock but moved down south a few years ago. AndyLinney on here lives up in Irvine, I'm sure he'll be along to say hello soon.

        All the best.

                Hi Andy...

I think we met briefly, at a training night down at Warrix, last summer. I was flying a plane down there. Didn't see you there much after that. Do you still fly there?

Hi Del... hows things mate? Thanks for the welcome.

Al, I'm sure we did. I've not flown at Warrix for a long time now to be honest. I found that the idea of anything other than .46 powered plane seemed to worry them slightly so I moved to Waterfoot.

Ah yes... thats what I found, but you put it so well! lol.. So I suspect my memberships this year then will be between Waterfoot and Garnock for my plank. Hopefully will see you up there very soon!
