There wont be any bling on my helicopter
I have had the medevac for 3 days now, and so far I have:
    - Superglued the tail (just a small fracture)
    - Broken 3 blades (oops, last radio mishap took care of two of them)
    - Plastic bubble on the cocpit fell off
    - Some furniture blemish (that we dont talk about)

But I'm starting to get the hang of it its hovering pretty good now. Cant wait to try it outdoors tomorrow and see how fast it is I read that it can reach 30kmh.

so try and keep it close to you however tempting it is to look over the neibours fence with it
I will (try any way )
Isnt the Bell 47 and the Bell Medevac the exact same helicopter (except that mine looks cooler? )

Believe me it won't do anything like 30kmh.

I just broke the top of the inner main shaft on my helicopter. Superglued it together with some epoxy glue. Should I even try flying it with this? or should I just buy a new shaft?
(I'll give the glue a few hours to cure)

Having spent the last few days trying to fix broken bits (on a horrible Twister CP) and fly with them - then crashing and costing myself even more money I you should be patient and go and buy the necessary replacement parts when you break them. If you have damaged anything to do with the main shaft, the heli may be much worse to fly.

Each time you break it, try to fix it as good as new. The better it flys the less likely you will fly into things

This ia a valuable lesson that you should learn now, before going on to bigger stuff.

                    Good luck

richie, that little micro is holding your skills back. as you know bigger stuff is much nicer to fly so you are less likely to crash :-)

I know I know, but I have Phoenix for my stick skills, the horrible, nasty twister CP for a challenge and ........

Maybe it's TODAY(unless the shipment doesn't come through! A Knight 50 or maybe a 3D. The 3D does look all tempting.....

Mastee check out this link mate... theres loads of info there and although its a diffrent name heli there all the same and the information will apply to all counter rotating helicopters. Scroll down the page and theres loads of links telling you diffrent stuff about setup/mods etc etc:-

                          http://www.helitown.com/EskyLama.htm

I had an esky lama 3 which is basically the same heli. Theres loadsa stuff these guys do to their helis to improve/mod them but remember its never gonna fly anything like a good micro or nitro heli. There just for indoor fun really but i dare say you pick up the basics with them (might get wrong for saying that mind :-) Have fun!

just fited it. looks great but the flybar sits a bit tight and so it is a bit slow on changing direction its a problem because when it goes it really goes and you have to be quick to catch it

i think i will try and file the nobly bits on the fly bar down.

Not doing so could see you in A&E with parts lodged in your head.
