Hi folks,
my 1st real question on the forum so please be gentle.
I've got a Twister CP Gold which I can get into a stable hover (just) and I'm having a lot of fun with it and still haven't bent anything (yet
) . From reading the forum I should really be spending a lot more time flying it and practising on a simulator BUT the Tx with the Twister isn't compatible with the Phoenix sim, which seems to be the preferred one to get so I'm thinking:
Buy a DX6i and Phoenix for practising when the weather is pants (most days) and also buy a Blade mSR BnF to fly indoors when I get bored with the simulator. The indoor area is a good 30' x 20' in size. I think I could also convert the Twister to run with the DX6i, maybe a new Rx?
I do have a 9Zap Tx which could be used at sometime and converted to 2.4 Ghz but I really think I'll just sell that on and buy into modern hardware.
Is this a reasonable way forward?
