Seems I'm not alone transitioning from cheapo Silverlit Tandem to a mSR as a result of a Christmas present I think the wife is already regretting buying.

Just unpacked mine today and flying around the living room, desperately need more batteries though.

        Ah - new blood!

Welcome to this hobby full of mayhem and fun and empty wallets

I started with a Honey Bee King 2 - then got a trex 450, then buillt another 450 - just about to start on my trex 500 and I got an MSR today.

Its a great hobby and this forum with its bunch of experts (some in the field of helicopters I'm reliably informed...) is the best one I've found - very friendly and ever so slightly mental.

        Cheers,
        Simon

cheap toys at christmas are dangerous. From a polystrene PicooZ I've ended up with a mSR and love it also have a Twister CP Gold waiting to be converted to 2.4Ghz.

          welcome on board
          best regards
