Possibly sounds like swash type is set to 120deg change it to 1Serv90.
Although I'm sure incorrect swash type allows lift but makes the models impossible to control.

            Hi Andy,
Sounds like your tx might need recalibrating in Phoenix. Make sure the all trims are centred, including the throttle and the channel 5 control on the top of the tx. This will also need to be operated through its full range when calibrating.

Tried compensating with the sticks in all directions but flat out and I cant take off..........

Just went back to chinook and cant fly that either! just rolls over to port and crashes!

That really does sound like a swash type issue but not sure if the msr/mcx tx can change that. I know it has some dip switches but which ones to change I don't know.

You need to make sure each control stick is asigned to the correct channel.
Go to System >>>> Your Controls >>>> Edit >>>> you will then get a screen come up where you can asign each control to the correct channel.

Standard dip switch settings for the LP5DSM CX2/3 Transmitter are 1.... 6..... & 7 Up.
                    All others down I believe.
Although no matter how they are set on the tx you should be able to compensate for any channel reverses from within Phoenix.
