Look I am not wanting to wake sleeping dogs but I have used PMC multiple times before. I bought my T-Rex 450 from there and various bits for my Raptor the list goes on.....They have always seen me alright and often sat over a cup of coffee and had a good chat with them.

1 bad experience for whatever reason does not paint a complete picture.

As you already have a reasonable transmitter, all you need is an airframe and electronics.

The difference in price between a bargin basement 450 airframe (approx £40) and a Trex 450 Sport (£150, allowing for supplied electrics) isn't actually that big once you add on the cost of a motor, speed controler, gyro, servos, receiver, battery, battery charger, etc, etc. Yes, you can penny-pinch each component, but it will end up costing you more in the long run.

Every time I have bought a more expensive heli, I have never regretted it. You really do get what you pay for!

I know exactly what you mean, really leaning towards an outrage 550, really like the look of the larger size and lower head speed, so if anyone out there is selling one let me know lol.

So bought an msr and dx6i (lots of fun) and now looking for some thing bigger.

Must admit I'm pretty confused by whats on offer out there, thought I'd like a rex 450 until I realised how small they are (yes i know the msr is small but thats different lol)

Keep looking around the net at different options (logo, outrage 550 etc) or do I go back to nitro, at least I have a bit of old knowledge there.
Well all my kit is electric - If you want to meet up and see it and what it is about and how I learned and progressed, we are not so far apart... so that is do-able.

Fundamental question for you is going to be to decide if you will go electric (my preferred route on getting back into the hobby after a break of about 25 years) or go nitro.
