Spartan DS760 Problem

Hi Guys I got a really strange problem with my DS760 Spartan on my Logo 400 with Align DS520 Tail.

More often than not the tail will not initialise properly. The gyro seems to function (blue light on at centre stick and flashing with rudder input) but the tail servo is dead no movement at all.

90% of the time it is like this 10% of the time the tail servo will function properly.

One thing I have noticed is that if I fire her up, the tail servo is dead, yet if i unplug the tail servo and then replug it in the tail servo fires up and behaves fine. It does this every time, unplug and replug = working tail.

you tried a different tail servo with that gyro and vice versa ? ... might let you narrow it down to which one is playing up then

Are you using a spektrum reciver as they have had problems on the older gyros ??

Try doing a rebind,see if this helps.

Just a thaught ... Have you tried putting a servo pulse checker on the output to ensure that the pulse is present just to ensure that a pulse is coming from the gyro (proof of poor connections

Hey guys cheers for the input. Sat down and read the manual and came across the bit about spectrum users should re-bind with a small amount of rudder input given. Tried this, and now it works fine. I guess the old AR6200 takes too long to boot up for the gyro, doing this it works fine now every time.
