For Graham...a blast from the past.

This is 'himself' test flying my Morley Hughes 300. I wasn't allowed to touch it until he was satisfied that it was a safe bird to fly, only then was I allowed to take the sticks. Connected to his tx via a buddy lead, of course...

This man invented the saying "Health and Safety...!!"

        Nice one Rich.
Love the look of the Hughes 300. I'm a bit of a scale fan as well. Hence the Hughes 500 (My Innovator) in my avatar.
        Great looking helis

Beautiful...there's a chap (flash git!) who owns a 500 (and a factory) just down the road from here, he flies into work every morning and flies home at night like you and I drive a car to work. Very similar to the one in your pic...I like scale birds, canopies and tubes are all very well to train on, but you can't beat a heli that looks like a heli.

I could really get into a scale Huey gunship in the Vietnam War colours, complete with operating guns...I did have a 9' long Type9 U-boat with operating bow and stern torpedoes, operating lights, a skipper who popped up out of the conning tower when the boat surfaced and went back down when the boat submerged, full sound effects, etc. Great fun...now imagine a Huey gunship roaring over the hedge around the flying field with all guns firing, lights blazing and music blaring out (what was that film???) Love it....!!

Whoa Nick..not yet, mate! I'm not buying until the New Year, not until I'm happy that I'm safe to fly anything bigger than what I'm flying now. (My tutor's words are echoing round in my head as I type!!)

Thank you for the kind offer Nick, it's much appreciated...but you're too early!!!

Best investment in that case would be Pheonix,if you have not already got it?

No, not got it yet Nick, just waiting for some 'business' cash to come through( ) then I'll be treating myself. I've just removed the FMS sim from my laptop in readiness, cash should be dropping through the letterbox early next week.

Shame we never had sims when I first learnt to fly...mind you, we didn't have personal computers then, so a sim wouldn't have much good to us!

Thanks to you all for the kind assistance, it's really appreciated.
