    Raptors

Mine has give me great service. It was my first nitro, starting life as a 30 then easily upgraded to a 50 (Gear ratio, boom, belt, blades mainly). It taught me hovering, circuits, loops, etc including inverted hovering!

Good intruduction into nitro's and easy setup!
    Thanks, Chris

Just to throw my three peneth in. I have two of them, one 30 size and one 50 sized. All I can say is that you will never regret buying one! fantastic bit of kit. Much better than an Hirobo Shuttle.

        Thanks for the input guys.

What is the going rate for a decent raptor .30 ? There seems to be a big price fluctuation on the BMFA website, obviously this is due to parts etc, but what about a stock machine ?

        Cheers

+1 for the rappy mate, I have a 2nd hand rappy 30v2 which I picked up for £150 with upgrades like carbon main blades, carbon tail boom, with regulator, and a remote glow!! bargain!!
So you can pick up good 2nd hand examples for great prices, there are a few on the bmfa as mentioned for 200-300 and look in good nick.
The rappy 30 has been a great learning platform for me, and don't really use my small electrics since Iv got it.

I would say you could get a decent one for 250, and I would stick to that budget.

          Good luck!!
