Mart61, I agree it does need constant adjustment especially when the battery is almost drained. The problem I had was that it was facing forward but travelling in about a meter diameter orbit of the Y axis. Which made it kind of interesting in a small 3.5x4.5m room with furniture 
So that is why I was trying to get it as level as possible at the swash plate and providing minor trim via sticks or trim levels. Even the manual suggests if the helicopter does this orbiting (eg. toilet pan effect) then you need to level the swash using the tool provided. I don't bother using the tool and just use my eyes and observe the direction the helicopter is moving.
