okay mate will watch out for that, maybe that was part of the cause of the movement in first place ? quick question, noticed on the quick test flight yesterday, mini t seemed a bit twitchy, iv got the swash afr cyclic set at 100% and pitch 100%, also got no flybar weights, what do you find is the best mix ? and throttle curves and pitch curve? used the tt manual pitch and throttle curve yesterday. Bearing in mind im only at side on hover stage.

    Cheers

      dr/expo :- Aile-100%+ 20%
      Elev-100%= 20%
      Rudd-100%= 15%

      travel adj. all at 100%

      throttle curve- 0.0 - 45.0 - 75.0 - 86.0 - 95.0
      Pitch curve- 40.0 - 50.0 - 75.0 - 85.0 - 95.0

      swash mix - Aile - 60%
      Elev - 60%
      Pitch - 50%

,,these are in a DX6i Simon, gives me a nice soft flight charecteristics, without being too numb, if you know what I mean

sorry to be a pain in the backside, but as there is less pitch now, do I have to adjust the servo's arms again? centre them? because they now look slightly at a lower angler than when I had swash afr set to 100%.

        cheers

At mid stick your pitch should be 0 degrees.

You need to check it with a pitch gauge.

everything should be level at mid-stick Simon, swash, washout arms (make sure your flybar is level by sticking a spiritlevel bubble on it),,your blade pitch, as Paul said, should be 0 degrees at mid stick, with everything level and lined up. the pitch curve I gave you should give you about 5 degrees negative pitch, through to about 8-10 degrees positive pitch, as you can see, the pitch curve is in percentages,,,50% being 0 degrees, 100% being full positive pitch, 0% being full negative pitch,,yeah ?
,,,and there is no such thing as a dumb question with this lark,,,just ask away

edit:-,,,oh, and get y'self a pitch gauge with a level bubble in it, http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/r304...el-p-6042.html this is a pretty good bit-o-kit from Fastlads,,,,

okay thats cleared things up a bit for me think you have got something cracked in this game when you are just getting your head around things then something new you've gotta learn! so set the pitch curve first and then put servo arms on?

                thats alot much much appreciated

no mate, with your servo arms off, switch on your tx, programme a linear pitch curve, ie: 0.0%-25.0%-50.0%-75.0%-100.0%, then switch on your heli, let it initialise, then set your throttle/pitch stick at mid-stick, then replace your servo arms so they are all at 180 degrees, if you can't get then exact, then trim them up with a little subtrim (usually 90, but all my arms are parallel to the swash from the servo's, 'tis just how they're mounted on the mini T), then adjust your swash level via the links, your washout arms should be pretty close at this seeing as how you've already had a good flyabout, then work your way up the head making sure everything is parallel, swash/washout/flybar arms, finally blade grips, (stick a blade in and put a pitch gauge on to make sure they are at 0 degrees, hence my suggestion for a pitch gauge with a level bubble ) if you find that your at a negative or positive pitch at mid-stick with everything level, then adjust the links to your blade grips EQUALLY, until you get 0 pitch with everything lined up, then you can set your pitch and throttle curves,,,gimme a shout if y'get stuck
