Hi all
Interesting how most of the queries WRT radio setup relate to Futaba gear
I'm puzzling over throttle and pitch curves for my Twister 3D and Sceadu. I've figured out that the 6 SUper gear only offers a 3 point curve 0/50/100 and have figured out that the throttle curve is only adjustable with the Hovering throttle HV-T function. I can't work out however the Pitch Rate settings PI-N,I,H Obviously Idle-Up is idling and I presume Hovering is stick at centre but is Normal stick high ie 100% ? And what does high side and low side mean ? And the % input (default 100%) does this adjust the curve away from its straight line ?
Lastly is there any benefit for newbies to have a more sophisticated curve ie 5 point. The radio setup seems easier on the FUtaba 7/9/14 series with dedicated gyro functions and better pitch and throttle curve menus.
Thanks for any help - my Google search only hit my earlier thread on CCPM settings - incidentally I found by accident that the anomalous swash plate DOWN = collective increase is 'normalised' by simply mounting the blade grips upside down and hence mirroring the pushrod linkage - might help TWister 3D owners who can't configure the radio to give increased pitch with swash plate lowering.
