  • Please help me get my King 2 flying again!!

About 3 months ago, I hit the ground nose in comming out a loop, and it made a bit of a mess.

Since then whenever I spool up the motor all the servos and motor glitch like mad. I have replaced the rx and still had the problem, then I replaced the esc and it still did it, so i have put the esky brushless esc one back on. All the servos are new as they did not survive the crash. The only thing that is original is the esky brushless motor, could this cause all the servos to glitch when it is spoolled up? I could not think that a motor would get damaged in the crash!

I need to get this heli in the air again as all I have to fly with atm is the sim!!!!!

dont know if it will solve the problem but have you tried rebinding your rx?

can you try a different motor to rule it out?

Do the servos chatter when stationary but turned on at all? Or is it just when hovering etc.

The motor is the only thing i have not changed, as dont have a spare and have so far spent enough trying all the other electrics. If the motor is unplugged then no glitching! I just dont understand how a motor can cause glitching or if it could be something else that moves eg static on the belt.

So really my question is, can a motor cause glitching? or would it be a resoltant movement eg static on the belt

Its got all new main shaft, bearings, dampers, flybar, feathering bar.

Have i heard somwhere that you can spray polish on the tail belt drive to stop any static building up? if so i could try that

Make your mind up Lol.. First of all you said, when you are stationary and motor is unplugged there is no glitching; then you say its fine when stationary but not when you spool up?

When motor unplugged = no glitching
when motor plugged in and not running = no glitching
                        when motor running = glitching

                          Just done another test

Motor running, but no pinion on (so no drive to main gear) = no glitching

                            Something must be bent somewhere.

is this running on 35mhz? might be a loose or damaged crystal and the vibrations of spooling up are causing the glitches, had a similar thing on an rc car, was fin without the engine running but glitched like mad when i started the engine.
