What do you think of this helicopter ?
Views would be great on this & which gear you would put on this ?
Got a DXi6 gear allready

At that price I have some doubts you'll get spares for it. However, just buy 5 kits and you'll have enough spares for a few crashes!

At that price the quality is going to be iffy at best, false economy get something you know is tried and tested.

personaly i think save your money and buy a t-rex.
or something like it with good reviews and easy to get parts for.
learning to fly is hard enough with out haveing cheap equipment makeing it 10 times harder.

That's an insane price. I have seen a similar trex clone cheap but not that cheap! I would think as far as spares you could prob use any number of generic 450 clone parts.

The only thing I have heard about some of these is that some use ali frames made of softer material than Align or one of the higher end clones. But still at that price obviously you cannot go too far wrong.

I just hope the quality of materials and workmanship is safe on the moving parts, blade grips etc.

These cheap kits are more trouble than their worth, you just end up chasing problems and having to spend a fortune putting proper parts on them.

Dont even waste your money buddy... i dont want to say 'i told you so' lol
Cheap plastic and metal and you'll find it very hard to get spares for it. Maybe some of the trex/copter x shafts or what have ya may fit it but i very much doubt much else will.

good saying the guys use on here...BUY RIGHT BUY ONCE!!!, as a earlier post suggested, i would save up and buy a t-rex450 or beam etc,, dont bother with cheap, as you will end up upgrading it or replacing it within a few months, OR WORSE it will put you off HELIS as it will fly like poo and you will be thinking its you when all along its your geat!!!! (i have seen this happen a few times and nearly did my self so i speak from experiance on this one)

Have a look through some UK sites mate and come back to us as they are far less likely to be of such low quality Even Esky are in a league above those

If you must buy the model from another country atleast make sure you can get parts for it in the UK because as said before you want to be able to get parts quickly and easily as you will crash just like us all! and the less time your model is sitting around waiting for spares the better!

You'd be better of buying a used Trex off this site. I've just been through a similar exercise myself and so far I've spent almost as much as a used Trex would cost and still not got off the ground.
Plus knowing the users on this site you'd be guaranteed it would be ready to fly.

I echo other sentiments on this thread.

IMHO, you would be much much better getting yourself a secondhand Trex 450 SE v2 (or SE v1 or a 450s) and have a good flying heli out of the box and, more importantly, no issues when you have to get spares.

If you find one you like, post on here and someone will help you out.
