Hi everybody... first of all thanks for taking your time to read this and help me.
So, i've been brownsing here and asking a few questions for a week or so.
I want to buy my first nitro heli to fly scale. I am a full scale pilot and just love helis so much that i want to fly R/C ones now. I've a CX2 and flying on Phoenix sim for about 2 months now, its ok on scale helis but performance helis on phoenix are to quick, they are set up for 3D but i don't know how tame them for nice and gentle flight? any good advice here ?
I would love to go to a club and spend time there learning, but the thing is that i am flying to Brazil on June 22nd for 6 months and where i am going to there's no clubs. So i need to buy all these before i leave and will take you guys as my instructor.
After many msgs i've decided to go for the Raptor 50 Titan. The thing is i wan't to buy right to buy once. I looked on midlands website. They have a nice one Ecureuil Fuselage + Raptor 50 Titan Mechanics + Engine for £476.99 i would remove the fuzz while learning and get just a canopy. But as i see the engine on this combo isn't that good as the main bits are plastic. Or buy Raptor 50 Titan SE Combo for £450.00 which have a Raptor 50 Titan SE kit + Thunder Tiger Redline 53H Engine, RL Highflow 3D Muffler, Zero Alpha Governor, TT V2 Carbon Main Blades 620mm. I can buy the fuselage later.
The point is i don't want to buy more than i will use like 3D bits, but don't want to buy something cheaper and have to spend a lot on upgrades.
Can some one please show me the way. What's the best one to buy and the best aspec to have a nice and stable flight for fuselages? what bits can i change to get there?
Also, sorry my question guys but do i need a governor? what its really used for?
Thanks all.
PS: i hope one day i can help someone else as you do guys!!!
