Unsure if you'll get any answers about esky, however if you are stuck with a budget which most of us are.....Blade 400 or as suggested Twister Storm 3D......

its a contra roatator mate, and although fun to fly you aint gonna progress learning to fly much

id go for a conventional heli, like the Align 450 or Robs Twister 3d.

its personal preferance but id go with an Align T-Rex mate, 450 or 500, and if you have a decent spec pc then a simulator also and spend ALOT of hours on the sim.

Couln't agree more. You need to be on the sim every day.

You need to ask yourself where you want to be going with your flying. If you just want something to fly around a bit on very calm days, then the Esky Big Lama will probably be fine. It will be far more maneuverable than the Syma is (as it has a helicopter's 4 degrees of freedom), but will require far less learning to fly than a collective pitch helicopter.

If, however, you think you're bitten by the heli bug, then don't waste your money on a coaxial heli, as it won't teach you much about how the bigger helicopters fly. They will, however, require a significant investment, both in time and money, before you will get to the position that you can even hover comfortably.
