Like the rest have said ... put it to one side and look at it in the morning .. I wrote off 3 nitro heli's in as many weeks when I first started .. I just rebuilt/new kit and got on with it as soon as I got it built .. Thing with this hobby is it can get you down when you keep crashing .. The first big ones always the worst .. They get easier after that

Wasnt in the air 10 seconds, now destroyed. Just soooooo frustrating! Cant even look at the f*****g thing right now.
      Being blunt...I'm good at that

It's going to happen, sometimes you have those moments where it just goes in, no reason, it just happens

Sometimes it's your fault, crap rebuild, poor setup, wrong setup, lose concentration, sun gets in your eyes, etc... it happens, get over it

Sometimes it's someone else's fault...these are the good ones because you can blame someone else...

Problem is most crashes will be your fault Just try to keep it hidden from the other half so you don't have to justify the rebuild costs

When I started, I spent a lot of time (and I mean, a LOT, like dozens of hours) hovering.
Not tail-in, try to avoid that as much as possible - you'll get good at it anyway.
No, at any angle, always the one that is the most difficult. Then slow piros in place.
Hovered circles in both directions. Forwards. Backwards. Side-in. Figure 8s. With a half-piro in the crossing point.
If you think you can hover and there is nothing more to learn, try to hover piroing circles (warning - this really isn't easy, with this "under your belt", piroflips are only a small step away).

What's my point? You can do the whole program on a smooth floor at an altitude of 30 cm. If you lose it, hit throttle hold and simply let it drop down. You can even use training gear, then it's almost impossible to break the heli.
The trick is, this is -much- more demanding than sky flying, because you're not allowed to "fall asleep" for a fraction of a second.
Sounds a bit like Radd's flying school? No coincidence.

Get back to it in a day or two and you'll be fine. In the mean time, get blind drunk.

I just tell her to explain why she can't go and spend money on clothes and hair do's.

Sparklebee I know how you feel, stacked my 600 three weeks in succession, destroyed my confidence and dented the Mastercard balance. What it also did was force me to reassess how much time I put in on the sim, I appreciate there's no simulating the sun getting in your eyes but the sim time did restore my confidence .
Bounce back when your feeling good again, a few good flights and the misery will go away.

Wow, just returned to this thread, lots of replies. Thank you all for your words of encouragement, you are of course right, its not the end of the world, its just nuts and bolts. But seconds after a rebuild, that just takes the p**s!
Just furious with myself. Ive been flying for 7 months without a crash, and i try and fly every day, i think i just got a bit complacent lately or something.
Anyway, just assessed the damage (again), and ordered the spares from Fastlads. So having calmed down, going to rebuild the mini titan, and try and improve my flying!
Although i dont know how you guys with serious 90 size helis do it, you must have deep pockets!
And by the way, its my girlfriend who stopped me stamping on the wreckage and ordered up the parts, she doesnt mind me spending on my hobbies, so all good! Hehehehe!
                                Cheers guys.
