Wow, just returned to this thread, lots of replies. Thank you all for your words of encouragement, you are of course right, its not the end of the world, its just nuts and bolts. But seconds after a rebuild, that just takes the p**s!
Just furious with myself. Ive been flying for 7 months without a crash, and i try and fly every day, i think i just got a bit complacent lately or something.
Anyway, just assessed the damage (again), and ordered the spares from Fastlads. So having calmed down, going to rebuild the mini titan, and try and improve my flying!
Although i dont know how you guys with serious 90 size helis do it, you must have deep pockets!
And by the way, its my girlfriend who stopped me stamping on the wreckage and ordered up the parts, she doesnt mind me spending on my hobbies, so all good! Hehehehe!

Glad to here you have had a change of mind . It is soooo frustrating at times , i remember a few years ago when i was seriously into R,C, Planes and crashed 3 in a day pretty much my whole fleet at the time , and thought the same as you . Thats it im packing in , but you do come round , i think thats the addictiveness of this hobby . Good luck with the rebuild and watch out for the Sun Mate . Rob .

Thats me done with this hobby, rebuilt my mini titan after tuesdays prang, even splashed out on some nice radix blades for it. Took it out tonight, crossed the sun on the first circuit, and that was it, totally dazzled myself and in it went AGAIN!!!
Wasnt in the air 10 seconds, now destroyed. Just soooooo frustrating! Cant even look at the f*****g thing right now.

great news that your not packin up

i felt a little like this because i had a prang a couple of weeks ago but since have had a few flights and the confidence comes back very quickly

made my heart pound a little when i took her up after the rebuild because i didnt want to dump it again
