I got a bit impatient and took the heli into next doors garden (we have a pond in ours) and tried again.
The tail is now working properly
The heli needed a bit of trim to get it hovering straight but it worked very nicely
I think I need to change my throttle curve a bit and then play with the gyro gain but its working very nicely.
Most importantly I didnt crash and hovered a few times for about 30 seconds each
Hopefully I can go flying tomorrow and stay in the air for longer this time.
