i am relitively new to heli flying and have been flying a cx2 since christmas last year. i am now looking at getting a new heli. i have been looking at getting a kit because i also do modelling and a friend told me that it might be a little bit the same (getting hands on and putting it together). the kit i was looking at was a Trex450SE GF. i would like to fly it with 2.4ghz but not sure how this all works. do i buy a transmitter with reciever and servos or do i need to get something else to fly it in 2.4ghz. do i need a specifi gyro too?
thanks

And a hell of alot better than a GY401. Id go for a Spektrum DX7 TX (Transmitter) with AR6200 RX (Receiver). For servos go with what glen said and grab some Hitec 65MG's or theres the much better new digital versions of the same servo the 5065 MG's. Few quid more each but will be worth it in the long run as there more precise etc. Batteries is really a choice you have to make yourself. They vary in price and performance. Id recommend the Outrage packs or Revolectrix at this time. You'll need a good charger, go for a Cellpro 4s or if ya wanna jump in at the deep end because you plan on progressing onto other bigger helis then go for the 10S. Buy once buy right is the motto round here.
