Well, i got the mini titan kit last week, wow, its a world away from a CX2 isnt it?! I had thought it would be really difficult to build, but it went together in 2 or 3 evenings, the only problem is a ******* bearing on the tail drive shaft. So my next question is, what gyro do you guys recommend for this size of heli? I know everyone will say the best i can afford, but is there a cheap/budget gyro available that will suffice for a newbie to learn with? Or would that be counter productive while learning?
    Cheers.

A decent gyro will make it easier to fly hence your learning curve will be quicker.

A cheap gyro for a learner could lead to an un-expected crash.

      Buy once/Buy right.

I use the futaba 401 on mine another option would be the futaba gy240.

There are cheaper ones out there and they will do the job, but they just don't have that locked in feel of the dearer gyro's and as Busterboy said, it makes the heli easier to fly for the beginner.
