Just got my shinny new Trex 450 SE, don't want to trash early on so would love some large sticks and balls (Training kit).

If anyone has and is willing to post, please let me know.

One of the things which we almost all buy when setting out in this hobby is training skids. Be it for small electric or larger electric/nitro. Needless to say depending on how you progress will determine how long you need them for. Once they are off though, they just lie around in a corner never to be used again.

          Ok, so whats my point?

Simple, I have just wrapped up and will post tomrrow a set of 450 training skids for someone just starting out. I reckon it will cost me about £1.50 to send 1st Class. No charge to the recipient, but the deal is that they make a donatation to RCHeliaddict for an amount they deem fit... I reckon about £5 would be a fair amount.

When a newbie comes along and is after a set, they post a mesage on this thread, if anyone has a suitable set at home and are willing to do as i have done the same applies... No charge to the recipent for the skids, and they make a donation to the site.

Not only will this help out the site for a ££ in running costs, the newbie feels good as they are getting support from the outset, and you have a warm fuzzy feeling inside knowing you have helped someone take their first step to flying RC heli's!!

I am extremely happy to recieve a EGS award nomination from Brian Gifford which is linked to this fantastic thread created by Aidi and his brilliant idea of passing on training gear to newbie heli addicts and some of us that maybe need to put them back on again from time to time!

Along with donations to the RCHA forum........

          Brian, well spotted and thankyou...

I'll second That! How's it going, Ron? Give Eddie my best if you are in touch. Still got my 500, but only flown it twice in the last year. Combination of health, work & weather - got a bit discouraged. Who knows, I might be back!

Likewise, Ron! Sorry about the absence, mate. Just got my head down, read all these posts about people doing so well - don't get me wrong, great to see guys (and gals) making progress, but just upset me that I wasn't going anywhere. Anyway, I still look on here occasionally, and had to make a comment when it involved Eddie! Hope you are well, mate, & I hope to be posting more in 2013. All the best for the festive season.

And to you and your family Brian

                            Sheldrake
thanks for the offer mate. the idea is any one wanting/needing a set would post here and someone like yourself would help. (on the understanding that they do likewise once finished with )

so if anyone does require a set contact sheldrake
