Well it's arrived and it looks great. The FBL does need attaching, but it looks like it's never been crashed.
My batteries from Hobbyking also arrived but they seem too fat.
Have i got the wrong ones?
Trex 450L Dominator (flown six times crashed twice)
Blade 230s (my hard working trainer)
Blade CPS (for smashing into walls)
Blade SR HUEY (too scared to fly at the moment, the 230s is going to end up in here)
    Phoenix Sim
    DX6i

      Which batteries did you buy?
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

It only goes in as far as the landing skid bracket. Even with the tray removed.

Yeah. I think those batteries were out before the 450L was. I used to have some for my Warp 360.

These ( https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-...450l-heli.html ) are the only HK batteries I know of that fit the 450L for definite.

These are the packs I use in mine too, good packs for the money, and will give you bang on CG too!

There is nothing really wrong with the stock ESC, but I changed mine for a Hobbywing Platinum 50A v3. It will give you a smoother spool up, and is smoother changing between different headspeeds, the stock ESC is a bit harsh in that regard. Also the BES in the HW ESC is stronger than the stock one too.

It's so frustrating no being able to plug it in and at least see the servos work!
Looks great sitting on the coffee table anyway.
It came with 2 canopies too. I think i'll do a custom paint job on one of those!

It did have the plate. I took it out to see if the battery would fit

are pretty fragile so i fitted a set of skids from the new trex 470 which fit straight on and as they have a slight angle to them lift the tail off the

The 470 Skids look great. Thanks

You can still plug it in to see if the servos work with the LiPo just hanging to one side or something. And you can do the FBL setup, basically everything except fly it.

I thought that, but there's a sticker over the plug and i want my money back.
I've spent as much on 3 batteries than the whole heli!
