elevator and aileron are the two you need dual rates on.
i agree with evo andy expo can lead to problems and i always recomend around 20% anymore and it really does start to feel like no control at center stick.
as james has stated lowering your swash mix percentages has a similar effect to dual rate but does limit the amount of control you have in all settings.
only use expo on the rudder if you are having trouble with keeping straight whilst adding pitch.

Best way to dial in expo if you were to use it is from lower settings up, start at say 5% and work up until you feel more confident, but as Ron says, don't go to far, other wise you will make it worse rather than better and be chasing the sticks all the time.
As ron says, playing with the swash mixes will effect also the pitch, and dual rate will still give you full pitch movement, so i agree with Ron on this.
Everyone will give diff answers but find the way you feel most comfortable being able to experiment with the settings.

Looks like the new Hirobo may have to be the order of the day then, it's not much bigger than the CX2.

Thanks to all. I shall try to fly it again tomorrow with the Dual rate on as suggested. Hopefully that will get me back to at least where I was before.

            Kindest Regards to all,

Flicking the two Dual Rate switches seems to have calmed it down somewhat and make it a tad easier to control. It may be all in my head but it seems easier.
