It was similar, but the mcpx (cored not brushless) looses some power when switching pitch and this does cause it to head off in one direction once you try and hover inverted. My orientations are only just starting to be good enough - I think another week of solid sim practice and I should be able to hold it in a tighter area. I tried again tonight in the indoor club and wasn't quite enough room (wall to one side and a mcpx liquidiser (aka a 450) to the other side) so I bought it back upright after only 5 seconds (and then crashed due to nerves!).

Sounds like you're nearly there with it now then. I'm staying very much upright for the time being, but really enjoying my mCPX and 130X. I really ought to start working on my inverted orientations on the sim. They seem alien at the moment!
