Looking to the future, thinking of getting a 500 at some point in the distant future. Prob a 500 DFC. Are they hard to build? Cheers.

You'll enjoy. Nerves with anyone's first build, but I always think that building is a very important part of the hobby. Being familiar with the model and the mechanics of heli flight really help troubleshooting any future issues/rebuilds etc
Plus you'll find it's as enjoyable as flying it

Yeah that's why I bought my second hand 450 to have a bigger heli to practise outside and learn to basics. Then enjoy building a heli and learning how they work in the process. My dad built a hpi baja 1/8 buggy from a kit and he loved it. Then I'll have a decent size heli that I can be proud to have built ( if it flew) lol. Cheers.Originally posted by Planehazza View PostYou'll enjoy. Nerves with anyone's first build, but I always think that building is a very important part of the hobby.
