    Thank you chaps.

Gazza, yes mate it does sometimes make you think "sod it" but this hobby is like gravity you can never pull yourself away from it.

I'd miss it to much, and as now I'm starting to fly the real stuff it's too exciting, practising on Phoenix and I'm dead excited about the weekend.

Plus building my first Trex from scratch, I'm chomping at the bit until that happens a few months from now.

Brin, hi mate, the motors were just the straight forward E-flite jobbies, they pop out with no trouble, I would advise on taking the shafts off as the lower gears make it practically impossible to attain a good screwdriver fix.

All I done when finished was adjust the Gain and P/Pot to suit the new parts, but for the next few weeks I'll be making a few adjustments until the motors wear in.

That's really about it mate, just built her back up and it was back to normal, only I never realised how slow my old motors had become until the new ones roared off.

          Ron, JB, thanks guy's.

I'm well and truly hooked, I haven't had a passion for a hobby like this since I started doing photography years ago.

I know she's only a tiny heli but it feels good to know you can replace everything if needed, I haven't taken off the servos yet but they look no more difficult than the motors, with the servos plus JB's tip I unscrewed the arms to place them in the next hole, I know this is all child's play to you top guns but it's giving me a great high.

You're very welcome mate, just glad I could put back into this place a little of what I've got out of it.

BTW, I know the bit about being hooked, me too.

              I'll agree with that one.

Cheers bud', I know what you mean, since being here I too have learned so much, and it's nice to offer new rookies the measure of what you've learnt so far.

It's strange. as when I first had my BCX2 I was crashing her so much in the early days I never appreciated the power of the motors, now I know what I'm doing it's like a whole new lease of life flying her.

Strange thing as the only original parts on her now is the main frame, the two servos and the 4in1 box.

Just a quickie, would an unbalanced batt or one with a few bad cells cause this, I can't see how, but with my new charger it's discovered two of my four CX2 batts don't charge correctly, saying that I still get a good five minutes out of them?

It could be a balance thing, I've noticed different batteries do behave differently, even the same make. For example I have been using 2 flightpower batts and 2 standard, of the two standard one has more power than the other, same with the flightpower ones. And I have to trim it slightly differently for different batts.
