Evening all,
well fitted the new Graupner Speed 300 to my HB V3 and wired in a lipo voltage light as well.
All the soldering and shrink wrapping went fine and did a few other jobs while things were in bits.
All was well until I connected it all up and to my horror SMOKE!
Like a complete Nermal I'd wired up the battery wrong and burned out my electronics. That'll teach me to finish fiddly jobs at 12pm.
I'm awaiting the 5in1 electronics from Midland Helis for my HB V3, but they've been on order for weeks (probably a month now), and I'm itching to get going again sooner rather than later.
Can anyone suggest a good replacement for the Hummingboard, and if I'd be just as well to replace the board and the receiver. I don't want to go down the road of a full seperates system yet,so an intergrated solution would be better.
Thanks as always- Jase
