nut I think only the elite ones do. I might be wrong
I'm almost certain you can get non-eflite ones that fit. But to be certain - ask in the msrx section of helifreak - mSR X - HeliFreak

      Batts are easy to find
Turnigy nano-tech 160mah 1S 25~40C Lipo Pack (Kyosho, E-flite, Parkzone Etc) (UK Warehouse)

A spot of glue or blue tac to keep the tail solid is fine.
      Invertix 400
      Vortex 285
      TBS Discovery Endurance
      X4 II
      Schluter Champion Longranger
      G4 E720
      G4 E720 Big AIR edition
      Goblin Urukay super slow
      Goblin 700 KSE Slow
      Goblin 700 KSE Fast
      Srimok Faifa
      Spectra G
      Synergy 766
I'm not controlling it, just preventing it from crashing

CA ( cyano/super glue) or hot melt glue from a glue gun. Just put a spot on the outside don't glue the boom into the slot. Hot melt glue is good as once dry it's easy to remove with a finger nail.

Phoenix comes in two versions, one with a dx5e transmitter included, or a dongle version which requires you to have your own compatible tx. The spectrum dx6i is probably the best transmitter to go for if you've bought the dongle version.

the dx6i will also work with your msrx, and probably make it easier to fly too!

I've got some batteries from my ncpx you can have if you like. Pm me your address and I'll send them. Royal Mail are a bit funny about lipos in the post so they may not arrive, but I'm happy to run the risk if you are!!

Keep at it with the Msrx it will click soon and you'll wonder what the fuss was all about.

                Cheers

defo all good advice on here, but i would also really recommend a flight sim, ok money is tight but for £80 or so will get you a pheonix or realflight, try the for sales on here or dare i say e bay. ive been in this hobby now for 2/3 years and still crash regularly on them lol but its cheaper than crashing the real thing and gives you confidence to try new things. youve gotta walk before you can run and its a long long learning curve, but very enjoyable, addictive and expensive. welcome to the hobby, all the best.

Not sure if your current transmitter will work, but Phoenix comes with a USB dongle, which has a lead with a jack plug that goes into back of transmitter.

Im defo on the look out for a dxi6 and flight sim now, might have to wait a while to save up but its in the pipeline.
Getting much better with my MSRx now, can get it up in living room no problem, hover at reasonable skill and am crashing much less. Im loving this little heli now and have u all to thank on here for sticking with this post and helping me out, hell, one of the guys is even sending me some free batteries, how good is that?
                            HAPPY DAYS.

The Phoenix v4 is around £65 from RC Hero, if you get a DX6i at the same time they may do you a deal.... So I was told at Charmouth on Saturday.

P.S the V4 upgrades to the V5 for free...

Had a bad crash tonight and noticed heli was only working from the tail rotor (blades where not moving ) when i looked inside the silver motor had come loose and the black glue that holds it in place so it lines up with the white teeth plates was broken, the black glue/silicon that there use to hold this part in place ? can that be purchased? don't want to start using lock tight or super glue in case it overheats or is problematic later down the line.
                                Would heat gun glue suffice?
