Pip's paying no games at all,he's offered help and he's genuine, only I can't reach him right now so I thought I'd have a go myself and it's gone a bit belly up as I don't know all the lingo yet!

those are just standard bananna plugs wayne.
why would pip have changed to them? unless his batteries all use banannas. either that or the esc has been changed.
either way wayne your going to have to decide which connections to use as your standard and get soldering im afraid!
for a quick fix put a "male" connecter on the black esc wire
Yes Pip did mention that I needed Banana plugs to connect with the ESC, but afterwards I thought I misheard the banana plug comment. being a Hi-Fi nut for the last 23 years my idea of Banana plugs are vastly different.
Micheal said He'd solder the correct connectors on for me when I get a few batts, but me being me I though while I can't contact hem I'd order the parts myself thinking how hard could it be............
I've tried the new parts Ron and there vastly over sized for any connections in either Pos' or neg' on either the batt or ESC.
I'm happy to do the soldering and such, just I hate not knowing what I'm doing
Now if this was a photographic problem I'd have no trouble, helis right now.........emm thats another question.

I should think you are sorry, you admitted you didn't even fly that heli, i wonder why?
I started using Lion & Lipo's when all you could get was a BEC plug or nothing! All my small models use BEC and everything else is interchangeable with gold 2mm banana's. I converted the heli ESC because it was going to be my 2nd Rex, but I bought an SE V2 from Twism instead.
When I decided to sell it, C-F was in the room and pounced on the opportunity. I was away snowboarding when he was trying to sort his batts out, now that I'm back I will be able to help him get setup and flying. He has already flown my hummingbird quite convincingly and has shown he can fly a proper heli, not just the Blade CX2
Straight up though, nothing wrong with deans, but personally I don't like them because I think they are really bulky. Banana plugs are easier to solder because you can work with one lead at a time and they are very reliable.
regards
Pip
Hey, where d'you learn to fly? I saw you shoot your rocket
up.............. into the sky.
Hey, I heard you set the pace, I never thought I'd see you back................ in this old place!
Those little Hummingbird's were addictive, a very gentle flyer compared to the raw thrust of a 450, but still go like a bat out of hell when pushed to do so.
Loved it, plus that was the first time I'd flown something real after practicing for weeks on Phoenix.
I'm grateful to all who have given my advise and help, Inwoods were great thanks guys, and Pip came over last night and went over all the settings and is sorting out a few issues which are minor but will make her fly like a dream.
So both of my helis are at the doc's right now, the BCX2 has had her Op' and is on her way back to me, and the 450 is in surgery right now having a servo bypass, but all's looking good.
Quick message to God, Hey fella lay off with the wind and rain will ya! at least for the weekends, cheers me old mucka
