Nice one Ollie, thats not far from me. You can learn a lot from watching people doing it properly.
I'm not sure how long it will be till I get mine as its not just the heli , I've got the transmitters to look at now.
The important thing is I've got my better half on my side ( I don't think she wants me to break any more fixtures and fittings in the house).

Hi Eyes ,I'm in down the road in oxford. Bought a T-rex 450 plus and found it a lot better to learn to fly on then the honeybee king 2 I started on. Also been looking somewhere to fly around here

One thing you should know is that bigger helis break in the smallest arrival. Small helis are ok as you fly them closer. The 130-X is a good size for large indoor area or outside, and survives some crashes. The msr-x and the msr are good for indoors and are very survivable. A 450 will need to be controlled all the time. Flybarless is easier to fly than a flybarred of the same size. The 300-X is a bit bigger but not so survivable as the 130-X. Bigger helis are easier to control as things happen slower, but the larger the heli, the more money is flying and this makes it more difficult to fly in practice, especially when starting.
