EDIT: See above post, much better/cheaper option

      Hi,

Anyone with a larger heli almost always will invest in a battery warning device or any device that gives a clue as to life remaining in the lipo.

I have a T-rex 600n and I use the Align 2in1 regulator/glow combo thing, whose switch includes 5 lights to indicate life in the lipo. 3 green, 1 orange and 1 red. Advice given to me (cos I am new, only had my first flight in it on Sunday) is that a rule of thumb is once all 3 green lights are out to give it a top-up. If it goes to orange mid-flight not too much of an issue but...as with all things r/c, use common sense and charge when possible.

You don't have anything like that with the CX2 (I got a CX2 also) but I am sure its possible to retro fit something that'll give you an inkling. Something like this maybe?

More experienced guys should be able to advise
