Need some help

Morning all

Im new to all this and need some help i have a GT 8003 electric helicopter. 1st one so nothing fancy for the life of me i cant find any tail blades. I looked on so many website and couldnt find any.

Does anybody know where i could get some from ??. I (if im allowed) can upload a pic of what im looking for incase there is another brand that can fit)

hi and welcome to the forum
I think you may struggle to find parts for these many of the sellers advertise spares but few actually carry them!, your best bet may be to contact some of the many other sellers flogging these on ebay and ask,or alternatively take a trip to your local model shop and see if the have an ordinary airplane prop that will fit.

Which look the pretty close so i might try them or try the local model shop

they are very small (about 3 cm across) will they be big enough?

Ok maybe not the spare i have is about 5 cm long

try searching for electric fixed pitch helicopters with tail motors, such as century neon blaze, honey bee fp v3 they may be more suitable
these use conventional side tail rotors but should work ok

I think you might be right yes ive emailed them asking how long the length is.

This is going to sound such a dumb question but does the length make much difference

within a few mm I would say no,on your heli its only used to tip the airframe to achieve forward/backward flight.

now the bit you probably dont want to hear! I really would not spend too much money on this heli,many of us got into this hobby by buying our first heli like this and then finding with hindsight they are not the best.have a good search of these forums and see just what is available and what they will do,decide which direction you would like to go,ask plenty of questions and you will find this is a very rewarding hobby.

Yeah im aware its not the best and i didnt wanna spend a fortune on one and not like it. Ill get the hang of it then will prob move up if i can afford it.

Just want to find a tail blade as i snapped it last nite and am now using the spare i got in the box.
