So i got the blades and done a test flight on them and i really like them, they run very smooth i can really feel the different and hear it. This being said i was surprised at the marks on them i would not agree with what fast lad has on their website, i know this is probably what they are told to put down. "Please note these are B-Surface blades. This means they will have cosmetic imperfections in the paint and gelcoat finish." or perhaps i got a bit unlucky not sure. But they do run nice so i am happy
The other blade also had a mark on it but it was on the black part and the camera could not pick it up. Is it normal for them to come with marks like this?
Goblin 700 comp 3 blade Kyle stacey head and tail, 160 scorpion esc , ultimate motor,MKS. Vbar NEO

I always buy the 'slight seconds' align blades and they often come with the lines and those blades look like nothing compared to some of the blades i've had...
If it was a main blade, you'd be correct, but it's a picture of a tail blade. They all have white lettering.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.
Those blades look perfectly fine to me, i buy B-Surface whenever i can and have done again now FL have them in stock again. The B-Surface blades are top value for money if you don't mind the faults in the gelcoats or slight surface imperfections, i have had blades with marks such as yours, do not worry they are perfectly fine. Even blades which are A-Surface are not 100% perfect, the more colours or lettering they have on them the harder it it to get them perfect! So when they are spinning at 2000+Rpm who gives a $hite??? Unless you are vien and like to sit and polish your helicopter blades all day so it can look pretty on the shelf then go ahead and buy the A-Surface blades.
I just wish more blade manufacturers did B-Surface, perhaps they keep them for testing purposes and sponsored pilots, afterall a £59 set of blades is better than a £100 set of blades.
Happy Flying! Thanks - Dave

Question is,
if you've seen the picture of the blade like that, would you still buy it?
I know I wouldn't, each one to their own,
I've bought blemished canopies and been perfectly happy ,
one thing to keep in mind is that there is a non return policy on those items so you must stick with it,
if they fly the same and balance well than nothing to be worried about.

If they fly the same I can't see the problem. Won't notice it when your flying and that's when the blades count. Enjoy the blades and the saving I say. I know I have as I bought some too!
