Should I ask what a Vibe 90 repair bill is ?
        Not unless you're sat down!
This repair has really put a dent in my liking for the Vibe from a non-sponsored heli owners point of view.
I love the way it flies (simply stunning heli to fly), but I cannot justify the costs involved in repairing it, especially when it's not me that crashes it! (Electrical failure).
It really takes a crash well, the heli went in inverted and then did a funky chicken for crying out loud, and no frame damage at all!

It's really not fair, especially now some of these ludicrous prices have just been pushed UP again!
They were supposed to be coming down... sad sad sad!

Anyway my parts bill, without replacing my V Blades, came to approx £250
Makes me wanna cry - love the way the heli flies but I simply can't afford it.

Look out for a Vibe 90 sale coming soon!

        Cheers,
        Rob

I thought my predators bill at 186 pounds was bad enough, I cannot afford it either and still tempted to sell it again. Credit card too the punch but that means it will cost more than 186 as its gonna take a while to pay it off

makes you wonder how these models can compete with models like the New T-rex 700 thats coming out.

They have a big shock coming is my guess.
Putting prices UP is exactly the wrong decision to make - one I'm sure will be regretted in due course.

              Ho hum.

                Naa its not

                T-rex 700 out fly a vibe 90....

Depends what they actually get right this time then

Durability is the next question as well 600's are not stunning if your a hard core 3D'er they need checking every 2 flights!

spares will be cheap enough though.

If I was going 90 I'd consider a Blitz Avro it looks a quality bit of kit.

I've no problems on the durability of the 600 at all - maybe I'm lucky, I dunno, but it just keeps coming back for more and takes very little maintenance in the process.

I think most things will be hard pressed to outfly the Vibe - but I guess it remains to be seen.
For me, the overall package has to be right... that isn't just how a heli flies, but total cost of ownership and reliabillity have to be considered too.

                  Time will tell

if people can't find issue with the 600 then they are not looking close enough. have a look at the play in the swash after circa 40-50 flights....you will be surprised how bad it is. i know myself and a mate were when our swashes were close to halfing in two......not good.

the 600n like all align products is cheap to buy/crash but the downside is that same cheapness, the part quality isn't great imo but then you get nothing for nothing.

the 700 will be cheap to repair i'm sure......if you can buy spares in packs of 1's. my only 600n crash cost a fortune because i had to buy 3 of everything....grrrrrr.

for all people (including me) bitched about the synergy part quality in the beginning my first one has a few hundred flights on it now and it has had 3 sets of dampers.

                    cheers
