If you want the best buy V bar,...................

Vortex will be good but, I think its the same price ,or similar to V bar so V bar is the risk free option , especially as we cant read the future !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did test hover a friend's brand new Blade 450X last weekend that we bought from Midland (cool place that store by the way! Cameron was good at helping us) and I was impressed at how stable the hover was.

I only have 3GX on both of my helis and as a beginner probably wont be able to tell a difference but when it comes to stability me helis just sit in the air with no winds probably would even have them sitting there hands off ... I would guess its down to the settings ... if you want to try the settings I can upload them - Ian Contessa has developed them over a quite extensive time and I love the behavior ... I still have 1.2 on my 3GX and havent updated to anything newer - as it just works ...

Ross the sk540 is a lot more vib resistant, mines hard mounted on a velocity and flush great. The msh brain should be out this week and at a bargin price€199.00 I will be trying one on my 450

Not at all mate, go for it and post them. I'll be on my PC later so if I don't see them up I'll attach them.

I should be able to start posting some V2.1 settings soon, as friends have models I've been setting up. This will give a starting point for most 3GX users hopefully.

just an earlier version thats all. If you really want to change (personally I wouldnt bother) Fastlads sell the blue case

I wouldn't agree with changing the case, as its misleading to someone if you ever sell it on.

Colours of the cases tell you which sensors are inside, for the black its the 1st colour that came out then the blue next to come should be a sliverline for the mini i'd think

Hey buddy.

No, as above sensors have changed in blue lines. The black units were an old design, still work well, but I'm lead to believe less tolerant to vibrations. Newer silver lines go a step further still.

Dont worry about the black sensor - I have a fullsize black vbar on my Protos and its perfect. The one on BMFA is a steal - just bear in mind it will be about 38 euros I think to upgrade it to 5.3 pro.
