one question - did you guys really have to follow the servo arm balls recommendation on the ZYX manual?
i have not touched mine and they're still from the trex 450 pro's manual...
i'm just wondering maybe this is why i can't get the main rotor total gain up any higher than 30 as it wobbles like crazy upon liftoff.
i've had to lower my P gain instead (but i dont know if that affects anything)

Hi Mr Tastic, it was a JVC FM1, whilst not my first choice of camera (its no gopro), i bought a mint 7month old one for £36 of the bay.

I did, the servo throws on my setup using the recommended settings were effing huge - unmeasurable using my pitch guage (+/-16)

Thanks for that. Quality seems really good. Just thinking about getting into strapping one on my helis but not sure what there is out there other then a gopro.

The problem with this camera is its dimensions. Its size lends it to an underslung type mount unfortunately.

I can't workout with mine if pirouette optimisation is set correctly. The swash seems to move in the right direction, i.e. if the nose was pointing north and the swash was pointing north then as the heli is rotated around it's axis the swash always maintains that north direction.

When I try to pirouette the heli it just seems to go off on one.. I have the ZYX mounted on the boom block with the wires exiting towards the boom. I'm thinking of just trying to reverse the optimisation direction but I'm very wary that it might go completely tits up if I do.
