Going to be setting up my 450pro with tarot zyx tomorrow. Any tips or quirks I shuld know about. I got the programming box aswell.

Hi liking the sound of these units and tempted to buy for my 250 but has anyone tried these on a 500 or sim size heli? If so any good? I did think buy and test on 250 and if any good and happy then try on a 500

Mine has just arrived. Unit is much smaller than I thought it was which works out well as it's going on a 450. Just have to get the new head built, zyx fitted and then it's ready for a go. Will keep you posted.

I have given mine an initial test flight and other than mine pitching up first impressions are good - the pitching up i put down to a non-level swash plate.

My setup consists of a slightly modded Tarot head on my GAUI. The pitch range was off the scale using the recommended 14mm servo arm length - this resulted in quite violent oscillations. My arm length is closer to 10mm and the oscillations are gone.

Hope to have further tests this weekend.

I've just had a ZYX unuit arrive today for my 450 Pro. The head is still on its way. I've bought one because I've heard nothing but good things about it. A mate has one on a Trex 500 and finds it faultless.

Does anyone have any experience running one on a nitro heli?
