write iv just converted my century 450gl(trex 450 se clone) to FBL Iv fitted all the genuine DFC align parts including all swash and servo linkages so its solid with no slop. Im using the cx-3x1000 is all set up 0 pitch at mid stick with swash leveler so its perfect.
on my first flight i had mega head wobble and id set the servo arm length to 10.5mm which is 0.5mm more than recommended in the manual i dropped gain down to 25 with no difference. I then move the lincages in to 8.7mm well within recommendation and noticed the elevator arm was one one hole further out than the others but i moved them all in to 8.7 anyway (i dint want to do this as the links slightly touch the servo). This i thought had fixed it as the wobble at the piont just before lift off had gone and it hovered lovely. the second you put any kind of medium movement into the head it starts to wobble again. I nearly crashed it but managed to bring it down safe. Im a bit confused as what to do.
when i leveled the swash i fitted the 3x linkage rods all the the right length according to the trex manual with brand new links measured with calipers and triple checked. fitted the arms all at 90 degrees to the swash(so horizontal) with the heli set at 0 pitch on throttle hold. but to get it level two servos sit level and one is up pointing up about 20 degrees more than the others(right hand side one looking at the tail towards me. its the one with the longest link. My thoughs are would the arm all ready being half way up alter the gyros ability to accurately correct the flight
tower pro mg90s servos on cylic(i know they arnt the best but i got them from a genuine source) and there are plenty of people getting on just fine with them with advance 3d.
sorry to go on so much but i wanted to answer all queastion before they are asked i will upload pictures soon if needed
