id just like to thank you all for your help I set it up as you all said , I did upgrade to the new software and went through the gov wizard again took it out this morning and it spooled up a treat I still had the problem of gov cutting back to idle at full collective, this morning it cut back to idle and wouldn't engage back in again caused me a hard landing and broke the skids, tail blades and torque tube gear (again) so I think I've found the problem I took the gov sensor out to try another one and found it was catching on one of the magnets as one of them was sitting a bit higher then the other so it had warn a groove in the tip of the sensor , that's why it fine the first couple of short testing flights then started to play up then finally pack up completely today , so new sensor fitted and hopefully get out tomorrow for some good flying

+1 for the spektrum backplate sensor. Works perfect.
