To be fair, V-B has banks as well. Where the SK wins in this respect is that you have multiiple banks, *and* gains that are settable from the T; whereas the V-B has Tx settable banks *or* Tx settable gains.

IME this makes the SK easier to set up [though the V-B banks are slightly more versatile.]

Also, the SK set-up parameters make more sense, and are better laid out.

I swapped V-B -> SK-720, after I got the SK flying as well in 2 flights as the V-B I'd been flying for 2 months.

This thing just gets better the more i read, but which heli first.??? 450, 500, 600n, 700n then i will get a another Sk540 in new year Jan/Feb time.

I played around with the banks in the vbar and its a great feature. You can actually have a completely different setup on each bank in the Vbar. Not only roll rates and gains but also swash adjustments the whole works. My Tx only had room for 2 banks but think there is no reason why you cant have more on a better TX.
Im sure the SK will be a similar deal.

SK540 seems to have endless of features & for 200 quid its not much more than beastx or 3GX which is what also attracts me, im not steering away from 3GX's as im picking a new one up this afternoon to go on my 600n to replace my aging 3G im still to decide which heli to put the SK540 on, & still have other heli's that im converting to fbl & using the 3GX, i think its going to be well worth keeping them as i think Align are pushing hard to resolve all the issues.
