  • Aileron sensor value out of range?

Just checking my log on my mini v after one of my connectors came out in flight from a dry solder joint. I discovered alot of these error messages. Would these be related o the bad joint or is it a separate issue I need to look at? Heli was flying fine up until then.

Probably the connector was intermittent so the corective action the servo was supposed to take wasnt senced by the gyro so it put in more movement..... and so on until it went out of range....

Bad connection, very bad vibration as in rough handling or a crash or sensor fault(unlikely)

In isolated cases seen sensor value or checksum errors due to static hit.

Yeah, I've seen these in crashes, so I guess rough handling as above would do it too.

Sensor value must be what the sensor sees, so unless it was the sensor cable which fell out I assume it crashed?

No didn't crash, I auto'd it down. Thank the lord I bought the cheap nimh redundancy pack

Think I'm going to redo my ground just in case it's a static issue but it was flighing beautifully as normal up until then

Glad you saved it! Rough landing? I know crashes technically can be called that!

Attached is a crash I have logged.

Good idea on the grounding it might be continuous on the bench but possibly a bad connection causing it to be intermittent in flight.

Wasnt even that, it was pretty soft actually. The errors go back a fair bit tbh so its possibly vibration as I have a lot of those too however the heli flies brilliantly but I'm do throw it about a bit so I'm certain that's why there is a lot of extreme vibration messages.
