OK back home and I have it installed now. I had only updated my Neo and not my VControl. Schoolboy error.

How are you finding the piro rate? I have to say even at 120 it's not what I am used to. I know all setups are different but so far both my machines at 100 piro is pedestrian and 120 barely acceptable.

Just maidened my logo 690 with the Neo and it was lovely. Piro rate seemed fine here.

Did you try tail rate overdrive?

No I didn't Phil, tbh missed it had been activated. Will read in to that but man it's slow on 2 I've setup.

That is weird... perhaps email Rainer?

Yeah was scrolling through the tail options and saw overdrive was no longer crossed out. Didn't try it but it might be an option, although I know little about it.

My take on overdrive is it's more for bluur piros allowing up to 200% piro speed. That would work but honestly it's not right. I've posted on vstabi as well.

I'm thinking they must have incorporated overdrive into all banks Michael.

Its only number crunching anyway, just keep turning it up until you are happy.

Have you had to use this feature then Tim. I've found if I go up to 170 it's about right but need to now work on stops and stuff. I'm sure it can be tweaked with the numbers however it's just quite different from the previous version. No biggie!

100 Piro rate on the 550 an 110 on the 700 an it's rapid just like it was on my silverline , seems good to me

According to Vstabi site the rate is the same as previous vbars suggesting similar numbers would yield similar piro speeds. Mine isn't even close with no obvious programming errors, well there's nothing to get wrong! Overdrive gets it better so will use that for now and see what happens in the future. Helis literally haven't changed just swapped units so more field time required.

My Trex 600, just been up to field and with NEO on it and at 100 piro rate can't visually tell the difference to old V bar Silverline.

Too many helis and planks, well that's what she says.

Mines all sorted now overdrive on and 140 gets it back to how it was. All different I guess I have since read a few others with slower piro. Personally I didn't appreciate overdrive was an option and all it does is disables the rate in tail setup and engages overdrive in expert. The value appear in the tail rate still with a line through. As Tim said its just a number and doesn't matter but how to get it does.

My tail rate was also slower than it was before with the same number. I had to increase it by about 20% to get the same rate I had before.

According to Uli Vbar regulates the tail up to 500 degs/sec. Beyond that it is down to the servo throw. Overdrive basically gives you more servo throw to increase the piro rate to the physical limit's but it will be unregulated.

My suspicion is that the tail rate has been scaled back to a maximum of 500 degs/sec, so it will always be regulated. To get it beyond 500 you need to enable overdrive, but it becomes unregulated.
