Wow is all I can say really.

Not really been one for the bailout feature that some FBL units offer now but after seeing the Demon in action today I'm seriously considering losing my bar's and swapping them all for Demon purely based on what I've seen today....and you know Mj that I like vbar. Some of the orientations it recovered from with ease today was amazing, either inverted or right way up, get in a muddle and hit the switch the model instantly levels and climbs. Yes if you're low and having it and you make a mistake the heli is going in regardless but up a bit higher with time to hit the button it would almost certainly save the model. Umm.......

3 on all 3 of my helis and I am loving the 3sx!
I am not an expert on fbl units, but I have tried few, and the 3sx is up there IMHO.

George, I have saved my heli from inches of the floor mate, many of times...... ninja fingers lol

Ressurecting this thread as my problem is similar if not the same. i just can't fathom the answer from the text.

I want to fix my gyro and heading gains in the software. Do I then have to disable the gyro /head channels in the TX so that the values aren't double counted? I don't want to next fly with gains that are too high if it will take the value programmed to the unit PLUS the gains in the TX.

                Thanks in advance

If you have them assigned to a channel on the radio, the unit will take its readings from there and disregard whats in the software. If you want them to take it from the software then disable them in the tx.

I always have the tail gain on my radio for ease. The head gain, once I have sorted it out via the tx in the first flight or 2 I then enter the value from the diagnosis screen (under the head gain) in to the screen where it is set. Cant think if the name of that tab atm.

Thanks Jamin, I read all the 'how to's' as I had to set tail gain and forget. But I actually want to keep it in the RX as I'm still not decided on where is right and would prefer the opportunity to have it adjustable still.
