Gpro and Nitro Gov

Not sure if anyone would knows but i did adjust gov in my DX18' in aux 2 so iu1 80% iu2 85% & now ive since noticed I have a tx 'governor setting" so i assigned my idle up switch to that governor setting which now gives me 3 gov positions, poss 1, ive left @ zero, poss 2 = iu1 ive set to 80% & poss 3=iu2 set to 85% but im not going to get to fly the 600 till tomorrow morning so just want to check if that sounds right.

Hi this sounds correct, it's what I was suggesting in post #27 although I may have not explained it very well!

officially Normal mode (Pos 1) should be set to a negative value to disable governor it sure what your value of 0 will do?

suggest you set it to -20% to be on the safe side.

Boy this thing is awesome now, i kinda understood what you where saying but couldn't work it out how to do the setup in my tx as the manual is absolute poo & 600 manual mentions using atv as gov.

My setup now is using the iu switch & assign it to governor so gov poss 0" default 0% & set throttle curve 0, 30,30,30,30
poss 1" 75% poss 2" 85% & set throttle in iu 1 & 2 throttle flat line 30% as i read somewhere if gov fails for any reason you have backup.

I done two hover flights this morning just to get the feel of switching between IU's & little more tuning the 3rd flight done some nose-in & small circuits then 4th done some large circuits rolls & flips but after couple more rolls engine cut out on me so had to auto it & with help of another guy found the fuel hose in the reserve tank perished so that put pay to that.! but really please with her & she just floats in the air & no engine hunting very smooth.
