Now Going Gpro

Got my Gpro's in the post today so thought ill start at both ends of my fleet so ones going on my 250dfc & the other on 600e and if im liking it ill do my other heli's so looks like there be few 3GX's on the for sale very soon.

Im liking the gpro on my trex 550L seems rock solid in fast piro stops and aggressive collective stops. But some reason I cannot get the bluetooth module to work on my galaxy s3 which is a annoying because I love that feature on my vbar

Hey Buddy.

Try setting a different pin code. It was working with the default pin, but I changed it to my preferred one and my S3 kept not wanting to connect. So I changed it to another one and it's working fine. I'm wondering if it doesn't like certain digit combinations maybe.

Congratulations buddy, it's an exciting and nervous time.

Done my 250 & 450 Gpro setup is very easy so real tester will be this morning, got to go down to london see family & will have couple hours flight at my old flying field.

Is anyone having problems with the Gpro not powering up or getting the BT module to work.

Long story very short,bought one,would not power up or connect to laptop,tried it with BT module and it powered up,managed to bind to Rx then unit fully powered up,status light came on and servos got power.then would connect to laptop.

Worked fine for a bit now dead again,wont power up,or even connect to BT now.

I am annoyed with myself for being tempted to try this POS,i am stuck with it now but am looking to get it back to the relevent UK supplier for checking out.

Done 3 now all with same problem but can't be sure what i done now but once you've done the bind/failsafe you then turn both heli & tx of, switch both on then pc or bluetooth you save settings then continue though setup saving settings before disconnecting also if you need to go through part of the setup you need to open the saved file think ive got it right.

Cheers,mine will not have it now,was working fine now wont connect to laptop and BT module wont connect to Ipad even,it came from Align Trex and thats where its going back to for a replacement unit that powers up as shown in all the Align setup videos,with no issues.

And if they wont help,they have lost a customer and i will be on to Robbe about it.

Raj @ Align Trex is always more than helpful give him a call im sure he'll sort it out.
