3G Update problem

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me? I'm trying to update my 3G to V3 and everytime I connect the sensor to the dongle I get this message :-



Please try again, and believe me I have! It did work once, so now the sensor is on V3 but it failed again when I connected the control unit so that is still on V1.

I have tried different versions of software, fresh installs, restarts, different usb leads and different leads to connect the sensor to the dongle. Both units are new, fresh out of their boxes :S (3G and USB Link )

I suspect that the dongle is at fault as the click button on the back doesn't feel 'right'


Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi I am to far from you but as for the v3 I would not bother v2.1 is the one to go for coolice is the 3g & 3gx god on here. I did try v3 it made the tail better but the feel of the rest wasn't nice

Thanks @Red3. I'm flying a 600N on 3G V3 and I really like it ??

The problem really is now that the two units are on different V's and I don't want to risk trying them until I'm sure they are the same.........

Is the button on the dongle making a nice klick when pressed ?

Well, it does click, but it doesn't feel very positive - I have found a second one to try (Huge thanks to Bikerflier )

I think I'll put it all back in the box until that arrives

Glad you have sorted a loan unit I was going to offer to post you my one to borrow. Hope you get it sorted.

Hi again.

Thanks to Bikerflyer, I now have a replacement usb dongle and I am pleased to say that I have solved my update problem - Duff USB adapter Thankfully I bought it new so it's about to be returned!
